What if...?

Read the following questions, give yourself time to reflect on your answers, and then read on...

If you died today (heart attack, car accident...anything), do you know where you would spend eternity? Would you end up in heaven or hell? How do you know for sure?

If you stood before God at the gate of heaven and He asked you why He should let you into His kingdom, how would you reply?

Even if all of this "Christian stuff" wasn't true, would it really hurt to live in obedience to God's word? Or, is it worth living otherwise and risking your soul with the probability that God, Satan, heaven, hell, judgement, salvation, sin, etc., are truly real?

Do you think there is anyone who is truly good enough to earn their way to heaven? Does a person's money, labor, lineage, attitude, "connections", personality, or intentions make them worthy enough to attain salvation and enter God's kingdom?

Was Jesus simply a good man teaching some parables to the poor? Was He a raving, radical lunatic that tried to bring false hope and chaos? Or, was He indeed the Son of God who died a painful death on a Roman cross to satisfy God's anger towards the sin of mankind for all time?

The following Scripture verses, copied from the Bible, are the very keys to the truth that can set you free from the bondage of sin and guarantee eternal life with God. These particular verses indicate man's unrighteous condition, our need for a Savior, and God's unlimited grace and mercy to provide a way to freedom for those who believe. Whether or not you choose to believe this is ultimately your choice, but I offer you the option of establishing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Depending on your choice, you can leave this Web page with the assurance that you have a place in God's kingdom for eternity. Further instructions follow the Scripture verses, so please read on...

These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

Based on what you've just read, if you would like to pray a simple prayer to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, please pray as follows:

If you just prayed that prayer and truly believe it in your heart, then you just became born again into God's Spirit just as the verses above indicate. Your next step of action should be to follow Jesus in baptism (a local Christian church can help you with this). Also, it is critical that you read the Bible, pray, and join a church body of Christians that can spiritually grow with you and encourage you in your new life. If you e-mail me (address listed below), I would be happy to pray for you and send Scripture verses that will help you further understand God's love, the many facets of Christian life, etc. There is so much to say, but I'd better wait until you send me your comments. God bless you!!
